Pastor Rev Roger Dahlen

Rev. Roger Dahlen was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois.  He accepted Christ during the summer of 1964 while working on the summer staff at Blackhawk Baptist Camp in northern Illinois.  

Rev. Dahlen received his B.A. degree from Ottawa University (Ottawa, Kansas) in 1969.  He attended Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas for 2 years.  After transferring to the Chicago Theological Seminary, he received his Master of Divinity degree in 1974.

Rev. Dahlen has served as pastor of Bethel Baptist Church of Southgate, Michigan since 1982.  Over the years, he has served in a variety of ways on the Region Board of ABC/MI and on the Board of the Southeastern Area.  He’s also been involved in the Southgate community, serving as a volunteer through the Southgate Community School District and the city of Southgate’s Parks and Recreation Department.
