Bethel Baptist Church has been serving Christ in the city of Southgate, Michigan since 1954. Our roots go back to 1917 when we began as an organized Sunday School in the city of Wyandotte, Michigan.  We average around 100 people on Sunday mornings. Bethel is as simple and straightforward as this web site. The congregation is made up of ordinary people striving to live out Christ's call in our daily lives. There's nothing flashy about the way we do business. We just try to be faithful to God's call.  If you're looking for a place that will accept you the way you are, while calling you to grow in grace and truth, Bethel may be that place.
